2012 The Garden is still going strong

The garden in 2012 is going great. We have families in all of the boxes and a few who want to join if we have an open box. The individual boxes are going great with a variety of vegetables growing. The community boxes this year have yielded, strawberries, variety of peppers, egg plant, carrots, beets, green beans, basil, parsley, lettuce, squash, tomatoes are coming in, our potatoes  look good and a variety of other vegetables. As a group we weed during the season and keep the place looking great.  We recently had a little picnic for the people who came out to clean up the garden. Here are a few pictures from this the 2012 season. We will update in the fall, just another great year so far. Enjoy some of the pictures so far from this year.

Fall Harvest and Clean Up

We have started to harvest what is left in the garden and clean up the lot. Last Saturday we pulled almost everything up save the carrots and the collard greens, which are still growing. We had a lot of green tomatoes!

We will be working again this Saturday at 1pm. Please feel free to stop by!
